MOVIES AT HOME

Watching movies is the best plan when you want to stay at home if you don’t want to go out, or when you’re sick, or when you don’t have Money. You always accompany it with popcorn, soda, candy, etc. to make movie more pleasant.

Obviously, first choose a good movie; depending on your tastes, for instance: Action, comedy, sci-fi, drama, horror, documentary, animated, musical and others, but sometimes after all a bad movie is chosen and in this case is better to choose a recommended movie.

But I feel some movies are too dangerous for children, but true stories in the movies about what happened in the real life and there’s so much violence right now and maybe this is the way that filmmakers speak about violence.

Then you choose a movie to relax, to watch the movie in a good company and enjoy it.

A clear example of a good film is the following:

Have you seen Saturday Night Fever?

Saturday Night Fever was the first film to show the world of disco dancing. The star of the film was John Travolta.

Before Saturday Night Fever, John Travolta was a TV actor, but he was really well-known. After Saturday Night Fever, he was suddenly the world’s number one sex symbol.

John Travolta’s character in Saturday Night Fever is nineteen-year old Tony Moreno. Tony lives with his family in New York . He has a boring job in a paint shop during the week, but every Saturday night he puts on a white suit and goes to Disco 2001 in Brooklyn to dance. On the dance floor he is a different person, he comes alive. He wins the competition for the best disco dancer in Brooklyn .

The songs and music for the film were all by an Australian group called the Bee Gees. Songs like Night Fever, and Stayin’alive were instant hits in discos all over the world.

For fifteen years after Saturday Night Fever John Travolta’s films were not very popular until his “Oscar-winning performance” in “pulp fiction” in the early nineties.
